DAY 2-3: Nairobi/Samburu Game Reserve
Fly
to the Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya's Northern Frontier District, arriving in time for lunch and a late-afternoon game
drive. Spend two days exploring the semi-arid Samburu. On morning and afternoon game drives, search for the famous "special
five" (reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the graceful, long necked gerenuk), found
only north of the equator. With luck, you may spot the elusive leopard stalking the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. Larsen's Camp B L D
DAY 4-5: Samburu/Masai
Mara Game Reserve
Fly to the Masai Mara to your luxury
permanent tented camp on the banks of the Mara River. The Mara contains Kenya's richest concentrations of wildlife, supplemented
for several months of the year by the large herds. On game drives in the heart of this classic grassland savannah, view migrating
herbivores and their predators: lion, cheetah and leopard. Also visit a Maasai village and, perhaps, take an optional hot
air balloon excursion or flight to Lake Victoria. On your final evening here, dine on the banks of the Mara River. Olonana B L D
DAY 6-8: Masai Mara/Nairobi/Arusha,
Tanzania/Ngorongoro Crater
Fly via Nairobi to the Ngorongoro
Crater, an ancient caldera teeming with wildlife. Explore the crater's prolific wildlife, and then enjoy a picnic lunch
at a private site. Look for elephant, flamingo, buffalo, lion, antelope and the highly endangered black rhino. You may encounter
Maasai herdsmen with their cattle, who continue to exist here as they have for centuries.Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
DAY 9-10: Ngorongoro
Crater/Serengeti National Park
Fly to the Serengeti, home to many species
including zebra, gazelle, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, elephant and buffalo. Explore this expansive region, a protected
animal refuge since 1929. Enjoy sundowner cocktails on a kopje (rocky outcropping)
overlooking the Serengeti plains. During the annual migration,
vast numbers of wildebeest move across the plains. This afternoon you may encounter this amazing display during a game drive.

Fly to Arusha,
