Msambweni House is in a quiet, unspoilt, unique setting on the beach surrounded by 28 acres of natural land. The house offers 700 feet of private beach along a tropical 4 mile white, sandy coastline with palm trees where guests can really feel at one with nature. It stands on a 40 feet high cliff ans is safely sorrounded by a typcal caral wall. Msambweni house is luxury uncompromised. It's a family owned and run exclusive house with three spacious and luxurious suites in the main house, one villa and a luxury tent.
The house has probably the best infinity pool ever(25 meters) and its winding jetty ends in a perfect sundowner spot on a cliff overlooking the big indian Ocean where guests enjoy pre-dinner cocktails under the African sky and the sound of lapping waves.
Accommodation:
Main House:The main Msambweni house with its lovely high ceilings, has three spacious, luxurious ensuite rooms with private verandahs, a luxury tented room and two extra rooms on the second floor. A 25 meters infinity pool and the winding jetty end in a perfect sundowner spot on a cliff overlooking the big Indian Ocean.
Lamu Villas:Not far from the main house are two Lamu villas well appointed with their own infinity swimming pools and Jacuzzi facing the sea. A private cook and waiter are at your disposal at any time.
Msambweni House has 11 rooms:
- 6 rooms in the Main House with a 25 meters swimming pool. With A/C: Master rooms I, II and III and Ocean Suite and Without A/C: Makuti rooms I and II.
- 1 A/C room and 1 Makuti room in the Private Villa I with a private 30 meters swimming pool and private Jacuzzi
- 1 A/C room and 1 Makuti room in the Private Villa II with a private 9 meters swimming pool and private Jacuzzi
- 1 A/C room in the Private Villa III with a Private 18 meters swimming pool and private Jacuzzi
Dinning:Dining at Msambweni is pure delight. The kitchen staff are thoroughly trained by a celebrity Belgian chef.Enjoy seafood, Swahili dishes, Belgian and French cuisine. Dine by the pool under the African sky and candlelight while listening to the whispers of the breeze from the Indian Ocean! The Sandbank lunch is one of the many surprise lunched/dinners.
