Ol Tukai Lodge is situated in the heart of the Amboseli National Park, one of East Africa's most fascinating wildlife and nature parks, A place of rugged beauty, abundant water, lush grass and forest, set like an oasis in the surrounding savannah scrub. To crown it all, the Gods look upon one of the worlds most awe-inspiring sites as dawn breaks and the sun sets from the 19,000 foot snow capped dome of Africa’s highest mountain.
Inspired by the beautiful topography, the lodge design concept takes full advantage of the flat plains on one side and the lush Acacia tree forest on the other. The buildings create an open atmosphere, blending traditional African style with the conveniences of modern life. All buildings have covered terraces built in gum pole and timber structures, with changing views of the landscape.
Accommodation: Ol Tukai has 80 luxury chalet-style twin rooms, all with an uninterrupted view of the wetlands or Kilimanjaro. Stylish and comfortable, the rooms have private bath rooms and individual terraces. The beautifully appointed rooms provide quality, comfort and attention to detail. The presence of the wilderness can be felt in the silence of the night.There are rooms allocated for special needs visitors. Two rooms are designed to conform to EU standards to accomodate physically challenged guests.
Dining at Ol Tukai Lodge::Lunch is served out on the veranda and on most occasions elephants, zebra and buffalo can be spotted metres away from the fence. The restaurant serves al a carte menus as well as set buffets. Theme nights are held throughout the week and include barbecues and Swahili fish menus. In addition the kitchen has an in house vegetarian and Indian cuisine chef. For any special needs please speak to the chef, who will be more than happy to cater for your particular taste.

Children:Children are welcome at Ol Tukai. Most bedrooms can accommodate an extra bed and baby cots are available on request. A special children’s menu and early supper is also available.The Lodge resident Maasai will be glad to entertain your kids with traditional folk stories while you enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Communication:There are 24 hour telephone and fax services. A radio call service is also available.
Conference Facilities:The fully equipped Ol TUkai Lodge conference room can accommodate up to 200 people. It is equipped with audio, video, flip charts, projector and any other equipment that may be required for a conference. The conference room has satellite television and is available for current affairs, sports and leisure viewing.
Chapel:We are proud to have a multi denominational chapel. Services are held every Sunday and all are welcome. This is a great location for couples who wish to “tie the knot” or even renew their marriage vows. A special Wedding Package can be offered and arrangements made with our head office in Nairobi prior to arrival.
Shops:Souvenirs and personal toiletries can be purchased at our well-stocked shop which is open daily.
Clinic:The lodge has a clinic with a qualified nurse. In case of an emergency the lodge will arrange an evacuation service to a hospital in Nairobi.
