| Terms and Conditions of Our Safaris
Validity of Prices
Prices are valid for the periods shown but are subject to change without notice in the event of Government action, i.e. increase in hotel tax or VAT, or increase of prices being significantly affected by other circumstances beyond our control. Prices are based on exchange rates prevailing at the time of publication and may alter should any major variation in exchange rates occur.
Prices Include
Prices quoted for safaris generally include transport as per the itinerary, game drives where appropriate, full board accommodation, picnic/extra lunches where stated, scheduled flights where mentioned and park entrance fees.
Prices Exclude
Itinerary prices generally exclude international flights, visa costs, airport taxes, optional excursions, personal insurance (medical or other), flying doctor membership, drinks, tips, phone calls, laundry and any items of a personal nature.
Children
Children under 12 years of age sharing with parents generally pay 50%. while in their own room pay 75% of adult rate
Reservations/Payments
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking and the balance 4 weeks before the booking date, although in certain circumstances larger deposits may be required. If booking within 4 weeks of the booking date, the whole amount is payable at time of confirmation. Notwithstanding any prior confirmation of arrangements, the right is reserved not to undertake a booking if payment is not made in accordance with the foregoing.
Cancellations
Any booking cancelled forfeits the deposit paid and if cancelled within 28 days to the day of the safari the total cost of the safari is forfeited.
Accommodation
Wherever possible we book rooms with private baths throughout a safari on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost.
Transportation
Varies with each itinerary but is usually by either air, safari minibus or 4×4 wheel drive with large windows, pop-up roofs, guaranteed window seats and the services of an English speaking driver/guide. French, Spanish and Japanese speaking driver/guides are also available.

Responsibility
All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Beyond Kenya safaris act only as booking agents for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any other services in connection with any itinerary. Every effort and care will be taken in making such arrangements, however, Beyond Kenya Safaris does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person or any of their servants or agents rendering any of the services included in the tour. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractor rendering service shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member. Furthermore, Beyond Kenya Safaris accept no responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any cause beyond their personal control. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice and to decline to accept or retain any tour members at any time.
