Campi ya Kanzi is an award-winning boutique eco-lodge in the Chyulu Hills of southern Kenya, in Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa”. For more than 20 years, the camp was the only Kenya luxury safari lodge on a Maasai-owned reserve spanning 375,000 acres of pristine wilderness. Accommodation

You may choose between two types of accommodation: the classic safari under canvas -at Campi ya Kanzi – or the privacy of a villa in the bush – Kanzi House.Campi ya Kanzi accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in six thatched roof luxury tented cottages and in the Hemingway and Simba suites. The tented cottages and the suites are conveniently located, with ample distance from one to the other, to guarantee every guest’s privacy. Each accommodation has a dedicated Maasai attendant.

This luxury lodge has been built in partnership with the Maasai community of the 375,000-acre Kuku Group Ranch.

Luxury Tented Cottage

The classic safari experience under canvas,  with the luxury of a comfortable bed (4 tented cottages have twins, 2 have a king size bed) and a full ensuite bathroom.Each of the six luxury tented cottages are named after the beautiful view of the specific hills that they face: Chyulu, Longitok, Elenyo Waite, Kilimanjaro, Oldonyo Oibor and Ololorami.You can enjoy a view of the vast wildlife that visits our watering hole as well while you enjoy a cup of tea and bitings on your private porch. Chyulu Club

Between the sacred Chyulu Hills and Kilimanjaro, stay in the heart of a Maasai ranch that stands out for its intense, wild and protected nature.Built in partnership with Institut Le Rosey, this is the first lodge in Africa to be both a carbon-negative and zero-emissions operation: 100% solar for all its electric needs, 100% solar for hot water, all kitchens are induction, all Land Rovers are electric.
