Mara Bush Camp is situated along the Olare Orok River in the famous Masai Mara, within the “Big Cat Territory” and close to various migration crossing points.We are fortunate to be surrounded by wildlife throughout the year!

With an excellent, central location, in the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve lies the intimate and small Mara Bush Camp. Discreetly tucked away in a riverine forest on the banks of the Olare Orok River, the camp is in close proximity to all major crossing points during the famous wildebeest migration. Drama, with a touch of African freedom and a taste of indigenous romance awaits you as you enjoy game viewing in the wild Savanna.

service, while maintaining attention to detail and warm hospitality. With only 12 river facing tents, the camp is amongst the smaller properties in the Reserve and simply offers excellent value for money.

Spacious, tastefully furnished designed guest tents welcome you to unwind and relax. Set in the bush with a view of the river and in stylish African ambience, all tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and handmade designer furniture, obtained from local materials. After an exciting game drive, enjoy a warm shower in your tent and relax on the veranda while listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. Even before you wake up, the vivid aroma of freshly brewed coffee calls for another promising day with exciting game sightings at hand.

Our head chef with his expertise in both international and African dishes will spoil you with scrumptious meals throughout your stay. We believe in “outdoor dining”, weather permitting, preferably under the shade of our cooling river trees. The main mess tent is used for indoor dining for all other occasions. On a clear night, you will encounter thousands of stars in the romantically lit camp setting. Book one of our well renowned bush dinners for a private and exclusive dinner experience !

Let the day end in tranquil fashion… Enjoy a drink at our cozy bar/lounge with your favorite cocktail being mixed by our in-house bar man. Or simply unwind by the camp fire, chatting about the exciting game sightings, seen during the day.

Guest Tents:We have 10 luxury guest tents that are spacious, tastefully decorated with hand-made furniture! All are river facing and have natural vegetation and grass fences around them, for privacy.

Family Tent:We have 02 luxury family tents that are larger than the guest tents, to accommodate families or a group of friends (maximum 4 adults), comfortably. They are spacious, tastefully decorated with hand-made furniture! All are river facing and have natural vegetation and grass fences around them, for privacy.
